USING CHEKHOV AT THE HELM- Directing/Teaching
This program focuses on how to direct plays using Chekhov techniques and then looks more closely at how to teach the Chekhov Technique. This program is excellent for directors and teachers, as well as actors who ultimately can cultivate self-directing and self-educating. There are certain guiding principles which, when applied, lead to excellent ensemble and rehearsed performances. There are ways to smooth out the rough rehearsals and course moments that seem to inevitably occur in a production. Anticipating and preparing the cast circumvents or diminishes crises and leads to a stronger outcome. This truly impacts the audience/artist experience.
