Synopsis:
“Once upon a time, a little girl in a red cape went into the woods with a basket of food for her grandmother”... well, you know the rest of the story.  But DO you?  LITTLE RED: THE REST OF THE STORY allows each character to tell his or her version of the story to the audience—we hear granny’s point of view, Little Red’s, the Handsome Hunter’s, and finally the Wolf’s —then the audience votes for which point of view wins!

Playwrights Melanie Mason and Dennis Maher have taken the familiar fairy tale and combined it with the unlikely alliance of Akira Kurosawa’s classic film RASHOMON and the wild comic genius of Warner Brothers cartoon greats Tex Avery and Chuck Jones; the end result is – but we can’t tell you the ending, because YOU the audience decide how it ends!

This production celebrates the 20^thanniversary of the production of LITTLE RED: THE REST OF THE STORY by Creative Arts Theatre & School.  Winner of the Southwest Theatre Association’s award for “Best Children’s Play”, LITTLE RED has been produced dozens of times throughout the South and Southeast.  Join CATS and discover THE REST OF THE STORY!
